Geografical Location

The road communication system between all the unions of Saltha Upazila has improved over time. The distance of Gatti Union Parishad is approximately 17 km from Faridpur district headquarters and 5 km from Saltha upazila headquarters. Here by bus or other vehicles from Faridpur to Faridpur-Khulna highway through Badarpur junction to the local Balia Bazar and the adjoining Union Parishad building.

Also from Faridpur you can go to Gatti Union Parishad via Rasulpur Bazar from Talma junction on Faridpur-Barisal highway. The distance is 23 km. Apart from the road connection, the river route can also be traveled from Faridpur to Faridpur by boats and trawlers.


It should be noted that the Gotti Union Parishad building is located on the bank of Kumar river.
